Former WWE Women’s Champion Melina has given a pretty clear answer about her wrestling future, and it sounds like fans should not expect to see her back in the ring.

During a recent TikTok Q&A, Melina was asked whether she would ever wrestle again. Her answer was simple: no.

The former WWE star explained that she still loves watching wrestling and being around the business, but the hunger to actually compete is no longer there.

For Melina, that matters.

She said wrestlers need that hunger to perform at their best, and she does not want to return just for the sake of returning if she cannot give fans the version of herself they remember.

That is probably the biggest takeaway from her comments.

This does not sound like someone being forced away from wrestling. It sounds like someone who understands where she is at in life and does not feel the need to chase one more match just because fans would like to see it.

Melina first arrived in WWE in 2005 alongside John Morrison and Joey Mercury as part of MNM. She later became one of the most recognizable women in WWE during that era and went on to win multiple championships.

During her WWE career, Melina became a three-time Women’s Champion and a two-time Divas Champion.

Her original WWE run ended in 2011, but she eventually made an emotional return during the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble.

That appearance gave longtime fans a chance to see Melina back inside a WWE ring after more than a decade away.

Still, it never developed into a full comeback.

And that is probably where some fans will always wonder what could have been.

Melina was one of the more unique performers from her generation. She had the entrance, the character, the attitude, and the ability to get fans invested in her whether she was working as a heel or babyface.

A longer WWE return could have opened up some interesting possibilities against the current generation of women.

But based on her latest comments, that chapter appears to be closed.

That does not necessarily mean Melina is finished with professional wrestling altogether.

She made it clear that she still enjoys watching wrestling and being around the business. A future role as a manager, producer, trainer, or occasional television personality could still make sense if that is something she ever wants to pursue.

But as far as actually getting back inside the ring goes, Melina seems comfortable leaving that part of her career behind.

And sometimes that is probably the right decision.

Not every wrestler needs one final match or another comeback run.

Melina already built a career that included multiple WWE championships, memorable rivalries, and a place in the history of WWE’s women’s division.

The question now is not whether she needs another match.

It may simply be whether fans are ready to accept that they have already seen Melina wrestle for the final time.
